Chamomile Oil Blue

Chamomile blue oil, also known as German chamomile oil, is extracted from the flowers of the German chamomile plant (Matricaria chamomilla or Matricaria recutita) through steam distillation. The oil has a distinct deep blue color due to the presence of the compound chamazulene. It has a sweet, herbaceous aroma and is widely used in aromatherapy and traditional medicine for its numerous therapeutic properties.
